Claudio Brandolino and Federica Recanatini, main human beings behind cherryblossom, are two young (23 and 21 years old) yet amazingly experienced web designers and programmers.
Both were born in a provincial town in the middle of Italy, full of tourists and palm trees and dolphins. They went to college, respectively in Teramo and Bologna, to study Communication Sciences, but soon they felt the call of the big unknown world out there blah blah blah, packed laptops and books and moved to Berlin, Germany.
Apropos, do you like Berlin? Because we definitely love it.
Claudio went first, and founded cherryblossom in the beginning of 2009 as a web design firm aimed to artists and creative people in Berlin. Fede followed months later and joined the project, that soon turned into a complete, full-service programming and web design agency.

We both have a crush on David Foster Wallace, haribos, The Magnetic Fields, coffee, Steve Albini, retro gaming, gaming in general, the Daily What, Joel and Ethan Cohen, staying awake all night for reasons different from parties, semiothics, AI, unhealthy fast food chains, noisy pop bands and noisy bands which are not pop.
Then, Claudio likes shopping in supermarkets, Philip Roth, Tom Wolfe, GEB, Woody Allen.
... while Fede falls for Lewis Carroll, Hellraiser's Pinhead, Asian movies, Švankmajer, Sonic Youth.
